Anybody near Chennai?
Hey my friends from India!

My mother-in-law is in touch with an astrologist who is trying to get a copy of an article written in 1883. The article is in a book at the Theosophical Society Library in Adyar, apparently a suburb of Chennai. It's not possible to photocopy the piece but the librarian will allow a digital photo record to be made. Any takers? Know anybody who knows somebody in the area willing to stop by with a digital camera?

"The Hindu Zodiac or the Discovery of the Lost Sky" by N. Chidambaram Iyer, B.A.F.B.

Found in "The Theosophist" of April 1883. English translation by BrihatJataka de VarahaMihira.

Thanks for even considering this task!

ha, ha, nothing will take me to Chennai in this heat...here's one NON volunteer for you!

But...if I do happen to go to Chennai, I will bear your request in mind. I do like the Theosophical Society campus with its wonderful old trees, even though the Adayar river on which the campus stands is now a cesspool.
